Q: Do you place white fillings?

A:

We place predominately tooth-colored fillings, although we occasionally place silver (amalgam) fillings - as the situation requires it or a patient prefers it.



Q: Will it hurt?

A:

We will make every effort to ensure that you have little or no discomfort. Frequently Dr. Robert B. Ziglar, Jr. is complimented on the gentleness of his numbing technique.



Q: Will you sedate me?

A:

Dr. Robert B. Ziglar, Jr. does not sedate in his office, but nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is available to alleviate a patient's anxiety if they so desire.



Q: Will you file my insurance claim?

A:

We file most insurance claims.



Q: Do you have a payment plan?

A:

Yes, we have Care Credit. If you need a lot of dental work, you don’t have to do it all at once. The important thing is to get started.



Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A:

We accept cash, check, debit, and all major credit cards as well as Care Credit.



Q: What is your staff like?

A:

Dr. Robert B. Ziglar, Jr.’s staff is very experienced, friendly and courteous. They will make sure that you are as comfortable as possible during your visit.



Q: Do you treat children?

A:

Dr. Robert B. Ziglar, Jr. treats children three years old and older. If a child is unable to co-operate during their visit, Dr. Robert B. Ziglar, Jr. may refer them to a children's specialist.



Q: Is “tooth whitening” safe?

A:

Whitening procedures are safe and approved by the American Dental Association.



Q: If periodontal disease is such a problem, why doesn’t it hurt?

A:

Periodontal problems can become very serious and extremely advanced without any pain at all. This is why it is so important to be attentive to the warning signs---bleeding gums when brushing and flossing, swollen gums, receded gums, teeth changing position, pus or swelling around gums---to name a few..
